The art of light and the beauty of connection - to the landscape, nature, and the positive flow and exchange of creative energy. Photography has been my primary route to connecting with the world and life around me since I picked up my first SLR camera in the 1970s and headed into the woods behind my childhood home near Dayton, Ohio.
In addition to my passion for photography, I am a doctoral candidate pursuing a Doctor of Professional Studies in Instructional Design Leadership through Franklin University. I also work in instructional design at Central New Mexico Community College in Albuquerque.
Currently, my photography work is limited to fine art nature and landscape images, prints, and licensing. I am no longer pursuing portrait and commercial photography as freelance opportunities.
I have a professional education and background in marketing communications, public relations, and human resources management. At my very core, though, is a passion for storytelling, education, and expression through art. My two daughters and son keep me inspired and grounded, yoga and cycling keep me healthy, and faith in love and compassion keep me going. I reside in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.
